Woman injured in Warren rollover crash

WARREN, R.I. (WPRI) — On Tuesday morning, police responded to a rollover crash that backed up traffic in front of the Ocean State Plaza Shopping Center in Warren.

The two-car crash happened around 11 a.m. at the intersection of Metacom Avenue and Homestead Avenue.

One woman was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for minor injuries, according to Warren PD.

Traffic heading toward Bristol was temporarily rerouted, while the other side of the roadway was down to one lane. The regular flow of traffic was restored by 1 p.m.
