Storm postpones Hasbro Children’s Hospital Heroes Ball

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — This year’s Hasbro Children’s Hospital Heroes Ball was postponed after the remnants of Debby severely damaged the event’s tent.

The hospital said its team is still working to assess the situation and find an alternative.

Due to the unforeseen circumstances, the online auction was extended until 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

People could bid on a variety of experiences including a sunset cruise and lunch with Judge Frank Caprio .

Hasbro said the proceeds from the auction will go toward the hospital’s “areas of greatest need.” You can check out the online auction here .
