BRISTOL, R.I. (WPRI) — A flotilla of boats gathered in Narragansett Bay Sunday morning for a pro-Donald Trump rally and parade.

Supporters of the former president were seen holding and waving Trump 2024 signs and flags, along with dozens of motor boats assembled in the water.

There were also rallies held at Rocky Point in Warwick, and Colt State Park in Bristol for viewing the boat parade, where hundreds on land showed their support for Trump.

“That we’re not all fooled, that we can’t all be bought with $25,000 deposits down on homes when we work two and three jobs to pay for ours,” Donna Bernier, who was at the event, told 12 News when asked what kind of message this gathering sends.

A similar event was held in the Narragansett Bay in 2020 .
