    Tickets on sale for Trinity Rep’s ‘A Christmas Carol’ at PPAC

    PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Tickets for Trinity Repertory Company’s production of “A Christmas Carol” at the Providence Performing Art Center (PPAC) are now on sale.

    For decades, “A Christmas Carol” has been performed at the Chace Theater, but the downtown venue will be under construction for a “much-needed renovation” in December.

    “By partnering with PPAC, the size, scope, and imagination of this year’s ‘A Christmas Carol’ will be greater than ever,” Trinity Rep said in a press release.

    BACKGROUND: Trinity Rep’s ‘A Christmas Carol’ to play at PPAC

    Construction on the theater is expected to start in October. When the project is completed, the Chace Theater will have new seats and a new lighting grid.

    Later this week, Trinity Rep will be holding auditions for “A Christmas Carol” for children between 8 and 12 years old. The auditions will be from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday at Cardi’s Furniture and Mattresses in Attleboro.

    You can buy tickets to “A Christmas Carol” at PPAC here . The show runs from Nov. 23 to Dec. 4, then from Dec. 26 to 29, with a hiatus in the middle for “ Hamilton .”
