Police arrest Dartmouth stabbing suspect

DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WPRI) — A man accused of stabbing another man during a fight in Dartmouth has been arrested, according to police.

Officers responding to the Capri Motel on State Road around noon Wednesday for reports of a possible stabbing during a fight found a man suffering from a stab wound.

He was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

With the help of Massachusetts State Police and Fall River police, they found 20-year-old Isaiah Ventura around 7:25 a.m. on Thursday.

Ventura has been charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife).
