20-year-old man dead in Woonsocket motorcycle crash

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash that happened in Woonsocket on Saturday evening.

Police Chief Thomas Oates III told 12 News the motorcyclist was 20-year-old Joseph Rossi of North Smithfield.

The crash took place on Truman Drive.

He lost control before going off the road and hitting a utility pole or light stanchion, according to Oates.

mmm and imagine sitting above the druggies and homeless while eating your dinner on a bridge partying it up, drinking and dancing, while a poor sad event unfolded just below. disgusting and sad. money raised should go towards the family just for having so many up there gawking and partying as it all unfolded. so sad. my thoughts and prayers with his friends and family
