BURRILLVILLE, R.I. (WPRI) — Burrillville football is built on tradition and that keeps them competitive each year. With quarterback Logan Gelinas back for his senior season, the Broncos are ready to compete for a title.

“It’s been great, you know, we’ve all been playing together for a while, so it’s good to be all together,” Gelinas said.

“They’re the most experienced team we’ve had in a while, playing in the hardest division and we’re looking forward to that challenge,” said head coach Gennaro Ferraro. “They’ve certainly accepted it. And as coaches, we couldn’t be any more proud to have a bunch of boys that are willing to challenge themselves and push themselves to the limit.”

Burrillville opens its season Thursday against Mt. Pleasant at Conley Stadium.
