    Warwick police searching for robbery suspect

    WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are searching for the suspect involved in a robbery Tuesday night in Warwick.

    Police say the clerk at the Family Dollar on Warwick Avenue was robbed at knifepoint around 9:30 p.m.

    The clerk was not hurt but the suspect did take off with a small amount of cash.

    The suspect is described as being a man who was wearing black clothing and a gray face mask, police said.

    The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Warwick police.
