    Man charged with murder in New Bedford stabbing

    NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) — A 31-year-old man has been charged in connection with a deadly stabbing in New Bedford.

    Tyler Dow Baglini, of Dartmouth, has been charged with murder, according to the Bristol County Attorney’s Office.

    Officers responding to a home on Atlantic Street around 5 p.m. Friday found a woman suffering from stab wounds.

    The victim, identified as 31-year-old Kerri Fidalgo, was rushed to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

    BACKGROUND: New Bedford woman, 31, killed in stabbing

    Dow Baglini is expected to be arraigned Monday morning.

    The incident is still under investigation.
