    State rep wants answers after North Attleboro bull escape

    NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — All eight bulls that escaped from a rodeo at the Emerald Square Mall in North Attleboro on Sunday have been recaptured , but questions surrounding rodeos in the area remain.

    State Representative Adam Scanlon of North Attleboro announced that he is looking into improving public safety regulations following the incident .

    “I am looking forward to touching base with all of the stakeholders involved,” Scanlon told 12 News on Tuesday. “I want to make sure that these events are kept safe, no one is injured, the animals are okay and property isn’t damaged.”

    BACKGROUND: Last loose bull captured in North Attleboro

    There are no rodeo laws in Massachusetts.

    12 News has filed a records request with the town of North Attleboro, inquiring about rodeo permits and accountability regarding the bulls’ escape.
