    2 hurt in New Bedford shooting

    NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) — An investigation is underway after a shooting left two people injured in New Bedford Tuesday night.

    Officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the area of Matthew and Bluefield streets around 11 p.m.

    Upon arrival, police found several vehicles that had been struck and two gunshot victims.

    The victims were brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

    No word on any arrests.
