The victim has been identified as 57-year-old Michael Ames.

Police said they got a call requesting a well-being check for someone who may have been hurt. Officers arrived at the home around 9:30 a.m. and found the victim in the basement with “obvious physical trauma injuries,” according to Col. Oscar Perez.
