    Where They Stand: RI House District 42 candidate Kelsey Coletta

    JOHNSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Democrat Kelsey Coletta is one of two candidates looking to be the next state representative for R.I. House District 42.

    She’s running against Republican Richard Fascia .

    There isn’t an incumbent this year after Coletta won the Democratic primary in September , which included state Rep. Edward Cardillo Jr.

    The district contains parts of Johnston and Cranston and is seen as one of the competitive General Assembly races this year.
