Newport wants feedback on how it handles large events

NEWPORT, R.I. (WPRI) — Newport has launched a new online survey that will help the city figure out how to better manage special events.

From the Tennis Hall of Fame to the Folk Festival, Newport is a busy place during the summer months. In the new survey, residents can share how large-scale events impact their neighborhoods.

The city said the results of the survey will help develop new policies for things like traffic and event management.
