In-Depth: Former FEMA Director Peter Gaynor on Hurricane Milton

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Rhode Island’s Peter Gaynor led the Federal Emergency Management Agency from 2020 to 2021 after previously serving in the same role at the state and city levels in Rhode Island.

On Wednesday, Gaynor joined 12 News anchor Kim Kalunian in studio to discuss the federal response to Hurricane Milton and Hurricane Helene, as well as his concerns about misinformation being spread about the situation.
