    Former WPRI editor describes experience in Hurricane Milton

    BRADENTON, Fla. (WPRI) — Those in Florida who chose not to evacuate hunkered down and are thankful Hurricane Milton has moved out.

    Former 12 News Photographer and Editor Wendy Curtis was right in the middle of where the storm hit and said it was “very, very, very scary.”

    On Zoom, Curtis showed 12 News some of the damage in the Bradenton neighborhood.
