The state tennis championships took place at Slater Park on Sunday. Defending singles champ, South Kingstown junior Alexa Clark taking on La Salle senior Bianca Presciutti.

Clark looked strong out of the gate. Backhand winner down the line. She took the first set 6-1.

Presciutti tries to close the gap with a forehand that falls just inside the back line.

But the champ is too much. Forehand winner on match point as Clark goes back to back, 6-1, 6-1. She’ll shoot for three peat now as a senior.
