McDermott Pool reopens in Warwick

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Warwick’s McDermott Pool is open again after undergoing “periodic maintenance,” according to Mayor Frank Picozzi.

Picozzi announced in a social media post that the pool reopened on Tuesday.

The pool has been sandblasted, repainted and resealed, according to Picozzi. In addition, the railings have been reinstalled, the showers have been repaired and the filtration system has been cleaned.

“The pool looks beautiful and I want to thank our workers for doing such an outstanding job,” Picozzi said.
