Fall River incident sends 2 to hospital

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) — Detectives are investigating a violent incident that happened overnight in Fall River.

City police said they were called to the 400 block of Dickinson Street just after 4:30 a.m. Wednesday for a possible stabbing and/or shooting.

A woman was taken to an area trauma center with significant injuries, according to police, and a man was also transported with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are now looking into what led up to the violence.
