EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The beautiful weather on Sunday showed that autumn was out in full force locally.

Some families enjoyed their warm, Sunday afternoon at Crescent Park in East Providence.

“I think I just enjoy hanging out with my family and friends enjoying all the fall activities that I wanted to do,” Vianca Vega told 12 News. “Seeing the seasons change too because live can go by so quickly.”

In Newport, the annual Heart & Sole Walk held by The Potter League for Animals also took place.

Others made their way to 4 Town Farms in Seekonk for pumpkin picking.

An employee told 12 News they experience an uptick in customers during the day because of the nice weather.

The last day of fall is on Saturday, Dec. 21.
