Operations are back to normal and roads have reopened after the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said it received a bomb threat Friday afternoon.

The sheriff's office said it was forced to evacuate buildings after it received the threat just before 2 p.m. Roads between Congress Avenue and Kirk Road were shut down while PBSO investigated.

In a post on social media, the sheriff's office said they deployed their Bomb Unit, helicopter, K-9 bomb-detection dogs and all available road patrol officers to investigate.

During the threat, sheriff's office facilities on Gun Club Road, located between Congress Avenue and Kirk Road, were immediately evacuated.

Palm Beach County Courts on Gun Club Road were also evacuated, while the corrections division sheltered in place.

The sheriff's office said by 3:30 p.m., after a "thorough investigation was concluded," all locations were secure and safe to resume regular operations.

Investigators have not mentioned if any one has been arrested for the threat.
