    UPDATE 8:05 p.m.

Moon Township police say University Blvd is open in both directions between Stoops Ferry and the Hertz Dealership.

A part of Stoops Ferry Road is still restricted to one lane.

Spring Run Road has also been reopened.

Flaugherty Run, Boggs School Road, and Brodhead Road are currently listed as “passable.”

Part of a busy road in Allegheny County was shut down Saturday because of a downed tree and landslide.

The Moon Township Police Department said on Facebook that a tree fell on powerlines around 5:45 a.m. The agency said northbound University Boulevard is closed between Old Narrows Run and Stoops Ferry Road (Route 51) while Duquesne Light is on scene.

PennDOT says there’s also a landslide in the area, which is shutting southbound University Boulevard between Stoops Ferry Road (Route 51) and Campus Drive until further notice.

By 1:30 p.m., Moon Township Police Department said University Boulevard had fully reopened between Stoops Ferry and the Hertz Dealership.

A section of Stoops Ferry Road remains restricted to one lane due to a landslide, and Spring Run Road Extension is still closed.

Drivers are urged to take alternative routes and use caution in the area.
