A car slammed into a grocery store before a burglary in Arlington Tuesday morning.

Our crew saw heavy damage to the front of a store in the 2400 block of Arlington Avenue.

Pittsburgh police said the business owner reported reviewing his security camera footage and finding his store had been burglarized.

Police said a man backed his car into the front door of the business to gain entry and was able to steal around 100 cartons of cigarettes worth thousands of dollars.

No one was inside the store at the time and there was no burglar alarm activation.

Crime Scene Unit detectives processed the scene.

After reviewing video of the incident, plainclothes detectives have positively identified a suspect for man and have applied for an arrest warrant.
