Summer heat turns back up to close out August

The summer heat turns back up this week to close out the end of August! Monday will be very warm and humid, with highs in the mid to upper 80s and a slight chance of an isolated shower or storm. Heat indices will reach the low 90s on Monday afternoon.

High temperatures will jump to the low 90s on Tuesday and Wednesday, with heat indices possibly in the mid to upper 90s. There is a chance for a few showers and storms in spots late on Tuesday. There’s a better chance of scattered thunderstorms on Wednesday evening.

Hot temperatures will continue Thursday and Friday, with highs in the upper 80s around 90 degrees. So, it doesn’t look like we have much of a break from the heat until next weekend.
