Rachael DelTondo’s ex-fiancé charged with allegedly beating girlfriend

A key figure in the Rachael DelTondo murder investigation is now facing charges for allegedly beating his girlfriend.

According to police, Frank Catroppa strangled his girlfriend inside their Moon Township home. He then allegedly broke their security cameras to try and cover up the abuse.

Catroppa had previously been engaged to DelTondo, but their wedding was called off seven months before her murder in 2018 .

Police said DelTondo had just been dropped off at her mother’s house along Buchanan Street in Aliquippa when she was shot at least 10 times.

No one has been charged in her death, but last year, the Beaver County District Attorney named Sheldon Jeter, Jr. as the prime suspect. He has maintained he had nothing to do with DelTondo’s murder.

Jeter was sentenced to life in prison in 2021 for the deadly shooting of his childhood friend.

The police sergeant and his daughter contaminated the crime scene. His daughter was the last one known to see her alive. That was the most telling about the responsible parties in my opinion. But I haven't heard anything about that since the day after her murder. The D.A named Jeter, but the D.A. was Crooked and everyone knew it, he was voted out of office so his word doesn't mean crap. There is no evidence the ex had anything to do with it, but this is making him look capable of aggressive behavior towards women. The victim was a whistle-blower against the police department, so I still think it was the sergeant. he had direct knowledge of the victims movements on the night in question, motive, and means to commit the crime and knowledge on how to cover his tracks. I don't believe in coincidence. Still no answers from the state police, so they left it open to assumption.
