Muggy weather remains steady among scattered showers

Muggy and damp conditions are expected for the remainder of the weekend and will continue into the start of the next work week as the remnant of Helene slowly tracks east.

On-and-off showers are back in the forecast this evening, muggy conditions will stick around overnight with lows in the 60s. More rain is expected on Sunday with the potential of steady pockets of rain at times.

Watch for ponding on roads and reduced visibility at times. Thunder is also possible south of I-70 Sunday afternoon, but severe weather is not expected. This upper-level low will be slow to move keeping on and off rain showers in the forecast Monday through early Tuesday morning. The next front will arrive by midweek and usher in cooler and less humid air for the reminder of the week.
