Live at Midday: Miss Georgia Scholarship Competition returns to Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The Miss Georgia Scholarship Competition is back in Columbus next month.

The competition is set to celebrate its 79th anniversary at the RiverCenter from June 12 to 15. Curtain is at 7 p.m. on preliminary nights from June 12 to 14, then 6 p.m. for the crowning night on June 15.

Fifty six women from across Georgia will be competing for an academic scholarship and the title of Miss Georgia 2024. Forty younger women are vying for the title of Miss Georgia’s Teen 2024.

Over $75,000 in scholarships will be awarded and winners will represent Georgia at Miss America/Miss America’s Teen.

96 children will also be participating in Miss Georgia Belles & Beaus Program.
