LaGrange: Section of Roanoke Road/GA-109 closed starting Tuesday

LaGRANGE, Ga. ( WRBL ) — The City of LaGrange announced that a section of Roanoke Road/ GA-109 will be closed starting Tuesday, May 28 at 8 a.m. for upgrades.

The 1960 block of Roanoke Road, is expected to be closed for two days with no traffic being able to cross. According to officials, road crews are upgrading the railroad with new surfacing and rails.

Motorists are advised to look for alternate routes to reach their destinations.
