A weather pattern drenched more in sunshine than rainfall

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)- The rest of this forecast is relatively dry.

The bottom line is an area of low pressure across southeast Georgia and the big bend of Florida will pull very little tropical moisture and possibly bring a stray shower late Wednesday perhaps into Friday afternoon.

Temperatures will remain around the average, rising into the lower 90s for daytime high readings and overnight lows will vary across East Alabama. Upper 60s for overnight temperatures. A few low to mid 70s farther south near the subtropical airmass.

At this time, I would not expect any substantial or measurable rainfall that would be beneficial. In fact, once this area of low pressure across the southeast portion of the state, dissipates high pressure rebuild across the region and stable conditions return for the rest of this month.

September 11 marks the peak of the tropical Atlantic hurricane season and currently the weather pattern continues to protect us from any tropical cyclones trying to enter the region.
