    PrepZone Preview Week 2: Heritage Bowl & Alabama High Schools Kickoff

    WRBL’s PrepZone Preview is officially back for it’s 10th season! The original high school football preview show is back with WRBL News 3 Sports Director Jack Pattesron, Weekend Sports Anchor Tyler Redmond, and Morning News Co-Anchor Rex Castillo.


    In Week 2, the team talks about the historic Fountain City Rivalry between the Carver Tigers and the Spencer Greenwave. Also some interesting matchups around the Peach State including Harris County hosting the always dynamic Troup County Tigers. Troup County will welcome a brand new crop of players after stars like quarterback Taeo Todd have graduated. Meanwhile Harris County is coming off a hard fought renewed rivalry against the Manchester Blue Devils.

    Also the high school football season kicks off on the other side of the Chattahoochee River. The Central Red Devils, who were the focus of the newest In The Trenches season, will host Pinson Valley. Current Red Devils head coach Patrick Nix also spent time with Indians before arriving in Phenix City. Staying in Class 7A the Auburn High Tigers will kick of their season with a team from Florida, North Miami Beach. Meanwhile it’s a new era for the Glenwood Gators as they cross over to the AHSAA ranks and their first test will be against the Valley Rams.
