An interview with Girl Scout membership coordinator Melissa Burkett about the Girl Scout Adventure Day

COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) — Girl Scout Membership Coordinator Melissa Burkett stopped by the WRBL studio to chat with anchor Rex Castillo about the Girl Scout Adventure day for new scouts.

The event is scheduled to take place at Woodruff Park on Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event is for new girls scouts and individuals who want to register for the event can do so at gshg.org/join or in person the day of the event. The annual membership fee is $30 annually per participant.
