Columbus Dream Center provides free food, clothing and more during public event

COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) — The Columbus Dream Center is aiming to assist the community members in need during a free public event.

The Dream Center will be open Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 4114 Oates Avenue Columbus, Georgia 31904.

The Dream Center says it will be providing free food, groceries, clothing, hair care, hygiene kits and more for those in need.

The non-profit says its goal is to help minimize food poverty in the Chattahoochee Valley area and restore hope to low-income families. The Dream Center is open to the public every 3rd Saturday of the month.

The organization also offers services throughout the month by appointment. An appointment can be scheduled by calling 706-604-0332.
