AUBURN, Ala. (WRBL) – Traffic is severely backed up along Highway 14 and Byrd Street this Thursday morning, September 12, as emergency crews work to clear the aftermath of a train-versus-vehicle crash.

Officials say it appears a car hauler became stuck on the railroad tracks at Byrd Street, causing the train to collide with multiple vehicles. Fortunately, there have been no reports of serious injuries, but the incident has caused significant disruption in the area.

Tiger Towing and Franklin Towing are on the scene, working alongside local authorities to remove the vehicles and reopen the roadways. Drivers are urged to avoid the area as cleanup efforts continue.

Should read the signs posted warning people if low tracks. Truck trailer back loaded, this makes it lower. I am sure whom ever owned the cars were not to happy.
