    Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office arrest wanted fugitive, seize $139,000 worth of drugs

    MUSCOGEE COUNTY, Ga. ( WRBL ) — The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a wanted fugitive and seized thousands of dollars worth of drugs Tuesday.

    The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office arrested Carlton Pate, who they say is a wanted fugitive, and Roxie Cox.

    Pate was wanted on two counts of Felony Trafficking Methamphetamine, and is now being charged with the following:

    • Felony Trafficking Methamphetamine – Three Counts
    • Felony Possession of Psilocybin
    • Felony Possession of Heroin
    • Felony Possession of Oxycodone
    • Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Related Objects

    Cox is being charged with Felony Trafficking Methamphetamine and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Related Objects.

    MCSO also confirmed Pate was arrested last year on several drug trafficking charges including:

    • Felony Trafficking Fentanyl
    • Felony Trafficking Methamphetamine
    • Felony Trafficking Heroin
    • Felony Possession of Cocaine
    • Felony Possession of Marijuana
    • Felony Theft by Receiving Stolen Property Firearm (Two Counts)
    • Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon (Five Counts)
    • Felony Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Crime
    • Possession of Drug Related Objects

    During the arrest the MCSO Special Operations Unit found drugs they say have a total estimated street value of $139,250:

    • 3.05 lbs of Methamphetamine valued at $138,420
    • 6.3 grams of Psilocybin (Mushrooms) valued at $300
    • 0.9 grams of Heroin valued at $400
    • 13 Oxycodone tablets valued at $130

    The Sheriff’s Office says both Pate and Cox were transported to the Muscogee County Jail without incident.
