COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) — Three men have been arrested in connection to the shooting death of a 15-year-old Kendrick High School student.

According to the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office, Demetrius Miles, Gregory Nelson and Marquis Roberts have all been arrested in connection to the shooting death of 15-year-old Earkavion Lee.

MCSO says Miles, Nelson and Roberts are all being charged with felony murder and felony possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Muscogee County Sheriff Greg Countryman says the MCSO’s Special Operations Unit and the Columbus Police Department assisted the South East Regional Fugitive Task Force (SERFTF), alongside the FBI and the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office in making the arrests.

Countryman says all three men were taken into custody without incident and were turned over to the Columbus Police Department.

The MCSO says the investigation into Lee’s death is still ongoing.
