METRA to hold ‘Communities in Motion Day’ on Oct. 3

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — METRA is holding an event in early October to highlight the importance of public transit.

“Communities in Motion Day” is being held on Thursday, Oct. 3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Metra Transfer Center on Linwood Boulevard. The city says this event will allow community partners to provide resources and services to citizens.

The city also mentioned there will be “fun surprised” planned for those in attendance.
