LIST: Road closures and blockages following Hurricane Helene

( WRBL ) — The Chattahoochee Valley breathed a sigh of relief on early Friday morning when Hurricane Helene veered eastward.

Although we did not face the brunt of the hurricane’s impact, News 3 is still receiving reports of road closures and downed trees/powerlines in our area.

This is the list as of about 9:45 a.m.:

Harris County
– Kings Gap Road between H Street and N X Street is shut down due to being washed out
– Blockages due to downed trees or powerlines:
1700 block of Fortune Hole Road
Goat Rock Road near Old River Road
Highway 190 at Hines Gap Road

Lee County
– Downed trees at:
Lee Road 379 near Lee Road 366
1800 block of Lee Road 266
1300 block of Lee Road 389
10 block of Lee Road 112
200 block of Lee Road 236

Chambers County
Fob James Drive in Valley closed
