    Troup County Emergency Management to hold donation drive for hurricane relief on Oct. 11

    TROUP COUNTY, Ga. ( WRBL ) — Multiple cities are joining together to hold a donation drive for Hurricane Helene relief.

    Troup County Emergency is partnering up with City of LaGrange, Troup County, City of West Point, City of Hogansville and United way of West Georgia on Oct. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Western Heights Baptist Church .

    The most-needed items include baby wipes, non-perishable food, bottled water, toilet paper, paper towels and diapers. Clothing items are currently not being collected.

    “We have been blessed to have the support of other communities during our time of disaster locally and I am proud of all our partners coming together to support these communities affected by Hurricane Helene in any way we can” said EMA Director Zac Steele.

    The items will be distributed to South Georgia communities.
