MCSD to hold annual ‘Midtown Showdown’ between Hardaway and Columbus High

COLUMBUS (WRBL) – The Hardaway Hawks have a long history of battling Columbus High. Though the pairing hasn’t dueled head-to-head since 2021, that changes this week. Due to reclassifications, Hardaway and Columbus will renew their rivalry Friday night.

This game will also be the first in which the game is labeled the, ‘Midtown Showdown’. The winner of the game will take home a trophy for the next year, until the next time the two teams meet.
