COLUMBUS, Ga (WRBL)- Milton became a Post-Tropical cyclone this afternoon with wind gusts up to 85 mph. Milton will continue eastward over the Atlantic for the next few days, and it will continue to weaken. Our focus will shift to the fall weather headed our direction.

Fall Temperatures: Temperatures will continue to cool through the end of the week. By Saturday morning, expect many areas to wake up to upper 40s. Readings will rebound at the end of the weekend, but this won’t last long.

A second, stronger front will move through next Tuesday. This front could bring a showers Tuesday morning. Morning lows will drop into the mid-lower 40s Wednesday, and highs will be in the 60s Monday-Tuesday.
