COLUMBUS, Ga (WRBL)- An absolutely beautiful end to the week today! Plenty of sunshine and temperatures rose into the mid 70s. A few areas saw mid 40s early this morning.

An even cooler morning is on tap for tomorrow, with many seeing 40s for Saturday morning. Afternoon readings will begin to trend warmer, rising into the upper 70s/80s.

Beginning Sunday afternoon, temperatures will briefly rebound into the mid 80s and lows into the 60s. However, a cold front next week will bring another round of fall weather.

This cold front will arrive Monday night/Tuesday morning, and winds will be a bit breezy ahead of its arrival. Expect gusts up to 30 mph Monday afternoon. Behind the front, readings will drop near 10 degrees Tuesday. Highs will be in the upper 60s/lower 70s beginning Tuesday. Lows will continue to cool into the lower 40s by Wednesday morning.
