    Where to find a free flu vaccination appointment in Columbus

    COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) — As the weather starts getting cooler in the Chattahoochee Valley, it may be time to consider getting a flu vaccine.

    According to the CDC , these vaccinations prevent people from catching the flu. Symptoms of the flu include chills, sore throat and a runny nose.

    Statistics from the CDC say flu season in the United States from 2023 to 2024 is considered moderately severe, estimating at least 34 million symptomatic illnesses and about 17,000 deaths caused by the infection.
