    Midday Interview: Exchange Club of Columbus’ hot dog jamboree kicks off Oct. 17

    COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) — An annual hot dog fundraising event is set to kick off later this week in Columbus.

    The Exchange Club of Columbus ‘ annual Foot Long Hot Dog Jamboree is scheduled to be on Oct. 17-19 at Wynnbrook Baptist Church on 500 River Knoll Way.

    Proceeds from the jamboree will support the organization’s service programs including Americanism, Service to Youth and Child Abuse Prevention.

    Tickets cost $8.50 and are used for guests to receive a foot long hot dog, chips and a drink. They can be purchased at the door or from a member, according to the organization.
