LaGRANGE, Ga. ( WRBL ) — A man was arrested in connection to an ice cream shop robbery in LaGrange on Thursday, according to the LaGrange Police Department.

Officers responded to Ice Queen on Lafayette Square at 6:26 p.m. At the scene, police spoke with the store’s manager who said a man entered the store, told customers he needed money, then demanded money from them while saying he “had something in his pocket.”

The man reached into the tip jar and took an unknown amount of money, according to police, then proceeded to flee on foot.

The LaGrange Police Department has identified the suspect as Treymone Moss, 33. He was arrested and taken to Troup County Jail.

Anyone with information asked to call the LaGrange Police Department or Detective Hackett at 706-883-2603.
