We’ll see lots of sunshine for the rest of your weekend and the warming trend continues. Saturday, other than a few passing clouds early on, sunshine will be plentiful with highs in the mid 70s today, warming close to 80 by tomorrow.

Through mid week we’ll see highs in the low 80s, slightly above average for this time of the year, but a cold front arrives on Thursday to bring us more seasonable weather by the weekend with highs in the mid to upper 70s. We will stay dry as high pressure continues to dominate our weather.

In the tropics, Tropical Storm Nadine is in the western Caribbean just off the coast of Belize with sustained winds of 45 mph. Nadine will continue moving westward bringing flooding rains to Central America. Elsewhere, an area of disturbed weather is located north of the Dominican Republic and is moving westward. It has become better organized this morning and now has a 60% chance for development. If it continues to organize, it would become Oscar. The good news is, it is expected to stay away from the lower 48.
