MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police say three people were hit by a shotgun blast Friday night in an argument that allegedly began over a parking spot outside Railgarten.

Officers responded to the Midtown concert venue and bar on Central near Cooper around 8:30 Friday night. Police at the time said one man was in non-critical condition after the shooting.

But a police report obtained Monday lists two additional victims.

Man hurt in shooting outside Railgarten

One man told police he was waiting at the gate to get into Railgarten when he heard shots ring out. He was hit in the upper shoulder and treated at the scene by the fire department.

Another man said he heard a fight occurring and, when he saw guns drawn, tried to move his friends to a safer location. He was shot in the back of the head before he could take cover, and was also treated at the scene.

Police say the incident began when a man parked his car at 2166 Central. When he got out, he got into a verbal argument with two men in a Lexus over a parking spot.

The argument got more heated until police say one of the men in the Lexus pulled out a weapon and shot the victim in the torso.

Police said the victim appeared to have been peppered with birdshot, and officers recovered two spent shotgun shells.

The shooter sped off in a newer model, gray, two-door Lexus eastbound on Central.

Railgarten has said they are expanding security measures to keep the venue safe.

“We want to reassure our community that the incident that occurred last night was an isolated event that took place outside our business premises. The victim came to our front door seeking help, and our staff, along with amazing customers, immediately rendered aid while authorities were called,” the company said.

Get these laws together. Most likely, the shooter was a convicted felon... he's riding with a shotgun and bird shot.
