MPD: Man steals woman’s gun, points it at her

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are looking for a man they say stole a woman’s gun and pointed it at her when she confronted him.

On Saturday at 5:04 p.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault at a Marathon Gas Station, located at 639 Shelby Drive. They were told that a man stole a victim’s handgun from her back pocket.

The suspect then allegedly pointed it at the victim when she confronted him.

Memphis Police say they have not made any arrests, but this is still an ongoing investigation.
