MS Elementary, Highschool closed due to reported bomb threat

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — East Tate Elementary School and Independence High School in Coldwater, Mississippi are closed on Monday following a reported bomb threat.

The school made a Facebook post early Monday morning addressing the issue and announcing the school closures.

“We want to be able to ensure your child’s safety by keeping them at home,” the post said.

All afterschool activities are canceled and this missed day will have to be made up.
