    Drugs agents seize meth, guns, stolen items in West TN

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Law enforcement officers from several agencies confiscated a quarter pound of methamphetamine, several weapons, and stolen property from a home in Tiptonville Tuesday afternoon.

    The West Tennessee Drug Task Force posted a picture of the drug seizure about two hours north of Memphis on its Facebook page .

    The drug task force said agents, along with investigators from the Dyer County Sheriff’s Office, Dyersburg Police Department, and Tiptonville Police Department, served a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of Leduke Street.

    During the search, Agents said they found the meth, eight suboxone pills, one ecstasy tab, three weapons, and the stolen property.

    Agents said one man with several previous convictions was arrested and is facing numerous drug, weapon, and property crime charges.

    They said Tiptonville police were handling the stolen property recovered and would be able to close out several theft investigations.
