    Two arrested after man killed at Tunica County apartments

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office says two men have been arrested in connection to a deadly shooting Monday at the Kirby Estates Apartments in Robinsonville, Mississippi.

    Investigators said Tanio Hall and Tavion Crutchfield were taken into custody Wednesday at the same apartment complex Monday for outstanding warrants out of Texas and Louisiana and are being questioned in the homicide.

    The victim in the Robinsville shooting was identified as 38-year-old Vandarren Marqueze McCray. The sheriff’s office said the incident remains under investigation.

    Hall, 30, was arrested for a weapons offense and a charge of failure to appear out of Texas.

    Crutchfield, 23, was arrested on charges of false imprisonment, battery of a dating partner, and child endangerment out of Louisiana.
